This week I learned about the future of multimedia learning and explored gamification in learning design.
I think multimedia learning is moving in two directions. First, the combination of online education and offline education. The combination of multimedia learning and offline education enables distance education to play the same role as offline education .Multimedia learning can also solve some drawbacks of offline education. It’s multimedia education combined with artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence helps students create their own learning routes. Each student can enjoy a unique way to improve learning efficiency.
For me, most of the trends I haven’t fully seen or understood. During the pandemic, using zoom to listen to lectures was one of the few times I used multimedia to learn. Of course, the use of social media in study is also something I have learned about. When I was taking specialized courses, there were some assignments that were beyond my knowledge .I used discord to discuss problems with my classmates. Social media enables me to exchange information with classmates and write to solve problems.
I think the combination of artificial intelligence and education will have a huge impact on the future. Students will have their own unique learning path. Each of them can have a more efficient learning method. Social media can better create a learning atmosphere and stimulate students’ active interest in learning. Students no longer study alone. They can exchange information together or assist with complete problems. For some excellent students, they can teach their knowledge to other students.

Hi Junyi,
I really agree with you about your vision for the future of multimedia learning, they should be a combination of online and offline.Only by giving full play to their respective advantages can students learn better.
On the other hand, I see that you elaborated that students will have unique learning paths, does that mean that each one will complete tasks individually? How to show the teamwork and social connection in the Gamification of Learning ?
